The WORST of Drew McNeil: Seven Heinous Occult Tales

Overview: A personal collaboration with my brother, author Drew McNeil, to design the visual identity for his debut collection of short horror fiction. I created the cover artwork, typography system, and accompanying promotional sticker designs to capture the dark, irreverent tone of The Worst of Drew McNeil: Seven Heinous Occult Tales.
This project was equal parts eccentric and creative exploration, combining hand-drawn motifs, distressed textures, and bold type treatments to create a visual brand that feels at home in the horror genre while standing out on the shelf (and online).

Hi, Strangeness! Seven Tales of Far Out Fiction

Drew McNeil's second collection of short stories titled Hi, Strangeness! Came out in April 2026.
From cover design to social strategy, I handled the visual identity and launch campaign end to end — designing the book cover, typography, promotional posts, and campaign assets, while managing his social platforms and building out a content calendar leading up to release day.
The goal was a brand that felt at home in the sci-fi genre while mixing in nostalgic, childhood play. Something strange and a little familiar!

A series of cover reveal + promotional videos created and posted during the lead up to launch day. Each one aligned to themes/styles of a different short story in the collection.
